Awkward and Awesome Thursday

Awkward

  • The message I just got through a social media site that stated the person finds me to be a 9 on the 1-10 attractiveness scale, but when I’m modeling I’m a ten. Uh. Okay, thanks I guess?
  • I went to the doctor yesterday, because I was feeling miserable. They do their tests and she comes back and says something about ED, to which I got really worried. Because I’m a girl, so how would I be suffering from erectile dysfunction and what does that have to do with the fact that my head is pounding and I can’t walk straight? Yeah, turns out she meant Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. Something with my ears. Go figure.
  • Also at the doctor, I notice there’s a big read message on my chart and I get nervous that it’s something bad. So I go to look, it just says “Patient allergic to paprika. CAUTION MUST BE USED!” Then, every nurse and doctor that comes in makes sure to confirm that I’m allergic to paprika and assures me they’ll take extra precautions. Because of all that paprika they use at the doctors office?
  • Migraines. Especially when the only thing that would relieve it is your glasses, and you have no idea where you put them.
  • Doing my bio lab online. I have to do the experiments all by myself, and then take pictures of me doing them.

Awesome

  • Finally getting to eat the tacos I had been craving for a week.
  • Class being canceled today.
  • Hanging out with my nephew on Saturday, and him telling me I was the coolest person he knew.
  • Getting ready for my road trip/vacation/adventure.
  • Girl scout cookies. I don’t even care that eating them has lead me to lose weight. They’re good either way.
  • I have major plans for this weekend that include Taylor Lautner, finding my dang glasses, dinner and some research. I’m so over this week already, and having fun weekend plans just make it go by that much slower.

Hahaha I love your Awkward & Awesome Thursdays =) The Paprika thing is totally bizarre and hilarious. Extra caution is definitely necessary because every doctors office I have ever been to has TOTALLY had at LEAST one spice rack...

Hahaha From now on I'm always going to be on the lookout for paprika in my doctors office... just in case. And I'm so glad that you don't have erectile dysfunction :)

Haha wow what a week.
So I totally suffer with vertigo and I know what it feels like to just lift my head up and the whole room is spinning. Not fun at all! The first time I had it I was 17 and it lasted for 2 weeks and all the doc said to me was to take motion sickness pills to help with the nausea...great! Lol

Glad you got your tacos! And which movie of Taylor are you going to watch?! I still haven't seen breaking dawn....I'm on the fence because I hear it was sorta cheesy...

ED?! Really though? bahahahahahahahahahaha
Also, I bet they were extra cautious to wipe all of that paprika off their hands before listening to you breathe. hehehehe
