Hi, my name is

I gave the same speech today for eight hours, on blogging and how it’s helped me develop academically, professionally and for fun. We made our own Awkward and Awesome columns. We sang. We danced around the room. I introduced myself probably 50 times. I had kids follow me down the hall screaming “Princess” and jumping out of the way. I had a kid kiss my hand. I took multiple pictures. I somehow managed eight hours in heels without my knee completely dying (please don’t kill me. Dr. Orthopedic Surgeon. It was for the sake of beauty) I was told that my mom, who teaches at the school I was speaking at, is “SUCH a fine piece of meat”. She’s acting like she didn’t appreciate it, but I totally think she did. And now I’m preparing to go back tomorrow, and do the same day all over again, only this time talking about Fight One in Four and why my platform means so much to me.

Have I mentioned lately how much I’m in love with this job?
