Wham, Bam

Today’s going to be a good day, I’ve already decided. I got to sleep in, my mom is bringing me lunch and I’m wearing my bright pants today. Plus, I woke up to an e-mail calling me cute. Does it get better than that? Never.

But, being cute came with a stipulation. I have to blog about myself more. Just kidding, that wasn’t in the email. But I was tagged and I like to play by the rules. That rebellious streak isn’t out THAT far. Yet.

Kylee asked me the first set of questions, Alyssa asked the second and Janna asked the third. And I bet if you go to their blog and become their buddies, they’ll ask you questions to. GO!

Kylee

What is your all-time favorite chic flick?

P.S. I love you or He’s just not that into you. I prefer to keep my Chick Flicks realistic about my potential futures.

What the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?

I’ve sat here for a good five minutes and can’t think of anything. Not because no one ever does nice things for me, but because everything someone does for me that’s nice is pretty awesome.

If you could live anywhere, where and why?

I miss Connecticut, a lot. But I don’t miss the winters. I love Texas so I’d probably stay here. I know, I’m so boring.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A journalist, a doctor, a teacher, a secretary or a horse rider. I had high, focused goals.

What's the last movie you watched(theater or at home)?

I went to go see Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol with a friend.

What is something you wear everyday?

Clothes. I don’t consistently wear something daily.

What is your ideal Friday night?

Relaxing. I don’t get off work until six, and by then I’m usually fried.

What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

Check my phone. Last night I sent a lot of texts in my sleep for some reason, so I had to go through and figure out what I was saying. Like sending “Not necessarily” when someone texted me to tell me he’d be home from college soon, “Shy souks you” to my friend who needed advice, and “Neither are you” when he told me my text didn’t make sense and then “Now they exocaihed what t flu sheik dad” to someone I hadn’t talked to in a few days. And no, I wasn’t drunk.

Heels, Flats, or Wedges?

Flats.
What is your favorite season?

Spring.

Do you have a food weakness? Something you could never turn down....

TACOS. Seriously, my favorite thing ever.

Alyssa

What's your favorite place to shop?

Forever 21 and Target.

Go out or stay in?

Stay in. But with people.

Celebrity gossip or actual news?

Whatever news I know usually comes from the radio in the morning, but I like both. They balance out.

Who is your favorite celebrity couple?

It WAS Heidi Klum and Seal but apparently they’re divorcing. So now it has to be Adam Levine and his sweet model girlfriend.

Favorite makeup brand?

Maybelline. Or ELF. I don’t know, tough question.

E-mails and Facebook or snail mail?

Snail mail.

Would you rather read or watch TV?

Read.

Favorite musical artist?

I don’t have one. It just depends on my mood. But I really genuinely wish I did.

Favorite music genre?

Again, it depends on my mood. I listen to pretty much everything.

Coffee or tea?

Coffee.

Beach or mountains?

Mountains.

Janna

Where were you born?

Hartford, Connecticut.

Who influenced you the most as a child?

My mom.

Is there any significance to your name?

When I was born, my parents picked my name because they liked the way it sounded. Then they called my grandparents to announce my arrival, and found out that my mom’s mom had the exact same first and middle name.

What's your pet-peeve?

Time wasters.

What is your favorite color?

Coral.

What song inspires you the most?

Hell on Heels—Pistol Annies

What is your favorite book?

Anything by Jodi Picoult is incredible. But The Pact and Tenth Circle are probably my favorite. And then the Queen of Babble books by Meg Cabot.

What is your best piece of advice about blogging?

Nothing. I don’t know, actually. I guess the thing that I get e-mailed about a lot is that people enjoy reading mine because of the humor and realism. So be yourself. That sounds like a good plan. Or go totally opposite and be nothing like yourself. Call it artistic expression.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I’ll have just turned 30, so I’ll probably be complaining but how old I feel. Other than that, I’m open to my options.

What makes you, you?

I wear my heart on my sleeve, and probably love too much. But I’ve always decided I would rather get my heart broken then miss out on something. And I take back what I just said, I do love too much. I just had a conversation with someone about how I needed to be able to separate myself from negative people, and let them make their own mistakes. I’m cautious, detail oriented, type A, and independent.

Do you like me?
Circle:
YES                           NO
